The first time I had to write a professional resume for myself, I went into a blind panic. I’ve worked freelance in multiple capacities for many years, I know I have amazing skills, but how on earth was I supposed to convey that to your average hiring manager? Luckily a super smart friend of mine calmed me down and helped me out.  I didn’t end up getting that job,  but strangely, later that week another friend reached out to ask if I was interested in joining her team – as a Resume Writer.

She was not, and assured me that with my writing skills I could be trained in the modern best practices and techniques in no time. I was super skeptical, but I’m also usually up for anything so, why not? That was almost 10 years ago now, and since then, I have written thousands of resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and bios and have helped hundreds of real people find meaningful work!

In addition to working with my own clients, I am a Senior Executive Resume Writer with a top global outplacement firm, joyful movement leader, and mama to one amazing teen and at least 2 cats.
